Therapy can be helpful for anyone seeking greater self-understanding, support through difficult emotions & experiences, or guidance navigating life’s challenges. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy.

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your current concerns, review relevant background information, and begin identifying goals for our work together. The first session is also a chance for you to determine whether the therapeutic relationship feels like a good fit.

Most clients begin therapy with weekly or biweekly sessions to establish consistency and build momentum in the therapeutic process. Frequency can be adjusted over time based on your goals, needs, and progress. Many of our clients eventually move to monthly - this is a flexible decision that is also made with practical impacts in mind such as scheduling and cost.

Yes. Numerous studies show that virtual therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy for many concerns. Virtual sessions offer flexibility and convenience which encourage consistency, while still providing a meaningful, connected therapeutic experience.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, life transitions, and perinatal mental health. Therapy can support you in understanding recurring patterns, processing emotional experiences, and developing healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

It is very similar to “traditional” therapy with the main difference being the focus of discussion. The perinatal period and transition into parenthood comes with unique challenges including identity and relationship shifts, & mood dysregulation. This work may include addressing anxiety, overwhelm, depression, intrusive thoughts and the emotional complexity of becoming or trying to become a parent. Hannah has completed specialized training through Post Partum Support International in order to competently provide guidance for these concerns.

A strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors for successful therapy. I encourage prospective clients to schedule a consultation so we can discuss your needs, answer questions, and determine whether my approach feels aligned with what you are seeking.

Yes. We provide in-person therapy for the Milwaukee area and virtual therapy to adults located anywhere in Wisconsin. We are working on expanding our services to IL and ND, so if you are further away - stay tuned!

Yes! We accept several different insurance plans with typical co-pays ranging from $0-$50. Before our first session, we will collect your insurance information and run an estimation of your cost. We want you to be able to make an informed decision about your cost of care - this is very important to us! We also accept self-pay and are happy to provide super-bills for those seeking reimbursement for out-of-network services.

That is completely okay. Many clients begin therapy without knowing exactly what to expect. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable while working toward your goals.
